I needed my solar removed and reinstalled so I could get my roof replaced. The job wasn't exactly the easiest because I went with stone coated metal shingles but they took on the job and did a great job. Plus every single time I called it was Drew Collom the owner that answered the phone.

My experience with Quality Solar has been exceptionally poor, and I strongly urge others to be cautious before choosing this company. During the initial sales process, I was contacted by the sales representative (Carter) as many as three to four times a day. However, once the contract was signed and the installation moved into the inspection phase, communication dropped off significantly. Reaching someone from the company for updates or support became extremely difficult and frustrating.It was clear to me that Quality Solar lacks familiarity with my city’s requirements for solar installation. I was forced to go through four separate rounds of inspection with the city, as well as two rounds of third-party inspections due to unclear procedures and poor coordination. This not only wasted my time but also delayed the overall process considerably.Even after finally passing all required inspections, my system remains inactive, and it has now been four days—including the weekend—without resolution. Throughout this ordeal, the lack of proactive communication and transparency from Quality Solar has been disappointing and stressful.I would advise anyone considering this company to be very careful. Make sure to research thoroughly, ask about their process for handling city permits and inspections, and clarify what to expect in terms of communication and support after installation. In my case, these areas were severely lacking and made for an overall negative experience
Drew and his team did an amazing job!We were under a tight time squeeze and they were able to get the entire 76 panel system installed in just days! Not only that but whenever there was an issue (maybe two since the Dec 28 2024 install) his team was there immediately to help resolve any issue.I highly recommend Quality Solar and Drew!Thoroughly impressed and can’t say enough about how well they performed!!
Quality Solar, LLC is no doubt one of the best solar installation company in Chicago area. I live in Kane county, St Charles, IL where electricity is provided by the city and not comed so the requirements are a bit different and tighter for my 22.5 kWh 53 panels solar project and after 2–3 major solar companies who failed me by charging the total cost after signing the contract… I finally came in touch with Quality Solar via POWUR Solar and finally they stick to the project and finished the installation on 04/18/25 as planned. Fingers crossed for the final inspection on 04/30/25 and getting my own solar energy! The person in charge for my installation, Luke and his crew were very professional and know what they’re doing so the installation went through very smoothly. The Operation head, Jason is also very nice to work with and played key roll in getting the Permit by satisfying all the needs from my city and the CEO, Drew is overseeing the entire the project like a hawk ensuring it goes through as expected and someone who I get in touch if needed knowing he will respond. I recommend their service to anyone who is on the fence about getting solar, feel free to ask me if you have any specific question, I think my project was their one of the biggest and most complicated non commercial / residential project and they pulled it off as expected so far, my system still needs final inspection and authorization to operate but I am confident that they will finish it as expected without any issues. Good job Quality Solar, keep up the good work, one project at a time!
